We have a network of approved carers across a wide area of Essex, all personally checked and visited by us. Your dog will stay in a warm home, with no other dogs, looked after and walked just as you would at your home.
We do not accept dogs with any aggressive tendencies, dogs that are not house trained, dogs that are incontinent, that are likely to chew objects/furniture or, in the case of large dogs, that are boisterous or not easy to control.
Wherever possible, we will try to match you with a carer who lives as close to you as possible. However, if your dog is large and/or strong, and your booking is during busy periods, you may end up travelling further afield. The more flexible you are, the more likely we will be able to accommodate you; otherwise it may be that we do not have anyone suitable for you at that particular time.
Please contact us first to discuss your requirements. It is possible that we may not have a suitable carer available for the dates you require, and this therefore saves you the time of registering with us unnecessarily.
Once you have discussed your requirements with us, we will ask you to complete and return the registration form to us, along with the initial registration fee if you are a new customer. Please see our Terms & Conditions for further information.
There is an initial registration fee payable by new customers of £10.
This is a one-off payment, made at the time of first registration, which registers all the details of your dog(s) on our booking system. It ensures that – at any future date – you can make a priority booking just by calling, texting or emailing us.
Registration of your dog(s) can be done at any time, even if you do not need to make a booking immediately, by returning the completed forms with your £10 registration fee.
Once we have received your completed registration form, and registration fee if applicable, we will provide you with the details of your carer. You should then contact the carer and arrange to visit them with your dog. This ensures you are happy to leave your dog with them, and also that the carer is happy to look after your dog.
If all goes well on your visit, and both parties are happy, the booking is confirmed and the deposit is payable upon receipt of the booking confirmation. If you feel that we have not supplied you with somebody who is suitable, you can either meet another carer or have your registration fee refunded (if applicable) in accordance with our terms and conditions.
The £20 per day caring charge (£30 for two dogs) is payable from the arrival day to the departure day inclusive. For example a Saturday-to-Saturday stay would count as an eight day stay, irrespective of how late you drop your dog off, or how early you pick them up. Charges are per day or part thereof, not per night or per 24 hours.
The deposit payable upon receipt of the booking confirmation is £6 per day for one dog, £8 per day for two dogs. The remaining balance of £14 per day (or £22 per day for two dogs) should be paid directly to your carer when you drop the dog off on the first day of their stay.
We regret that should you indicate an intention to withhold this payment to your carer until the completion of your dog’s stay this may result in the immediate cancellation of your booking and loss of your deposit.
Please note that in the event of you cancelling a confirmed booking there is a minimum £10 administration charge deducted from any refund due.
Please note: additional carer charges apply over Christmas, New Year, Easter and Bank Holiday periods; please see Frequently Asked Questions.
WE DO GET EXTREMELY BUSY AND WE CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH TO PLEASE BOOK AS FAR IN ADVANCE AS POSSIBLE TO ENSURE THE CARER OF YOUR CHOICE
